Sometime aged patients come with white hair removal from chin and face. Some young individuals also have premature greying of beard or moustache hair. Till date, electrolysis is considered to be the treatment of choice. Why can't laser remove white hair?
Laser targets pigment, and white or grey hair has little or none, so it does not respond. Methods that remove the follicle directly are used instead.
Is it permanent?
