Usually, gynecomastia does not require any treatment. As it happens mostly in puberty boys, it resolves by its w with the passage of time. 

The time when gynecomastia is caused due to medication or other underlying conditions, which might resolve when you stop taking such medication or when the disease has been cured. 

However, the complications of Gynaecomastia are rare, at times the tissue might undergo scarring making the treatment difficult.

Moreover, the psychological effect is usually more on adolescents and young men.

Along with this, men with gynecomastia carry a higher risk of breast cancer compared to persons not suffering from such a condition. A few patients might be recommended medications that would stop the development of female hormones or while others may require surgery to reduce the size of their breasts.

Medication, surgery, and counseling are the treatments involved in managing gynecomastia.
