Horizontal neck wrinkles are a prevalent aesthetic deficiency, but there are few treatment options available, and none have been researched with longer-term follow-ups. Necklines, also known as neck wrinkles, are similar to wrinkles found around the mouth, eyes, hands, and forehead. Horizontal neck wrinkles appear as linear bouts of depression or grooves in the neck’s anterior half Their etiology differs from that of other types of facial wrinkles, which are triggered by aging skin. They do, even so, tighten the skin but do not reduce rhytides. Injections of botulinum toxin type A efficiently reduce platysmal bands but only marginally enhance horizontal necklines.
