The bulbous nose is one of the difficult problems. This type of patients have very thick skin cover which does not allow any of inner shape to come and show out on nose tip. So the nose becomes bulbous without any shape. Even with surgery, we cannot thin out the skin much but most of the patients improve quite a lot with surgery. In thick skin people, the cartilages are not developed well to bear weight of the thick envelope.
