A beard transplant is a hair recovery method in which the surgeon transplants the hair with follicular unit extraction techniques (FUE) and tools into the scalp. Face hair can be removed and transplanted into other areas of the scalp in these cases.

Beard hair transplants can be used for male hair loss (MPH) patients, but not for other types of alopecia.
